BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Nottinghamshire

A declining dial with laid-over gnomon. The gnomon base is set on the noon line but the whole is bent to the west to allow for the dial’s declination of approx 15 deg east. Upright numerals V - XII - IV - V, though the horizontal is at about 5:15. The dial is sunk into the brick wall at second floor level and housed in its own small gable.
