BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Painted on a wooden board, or possibly metal sheet on wood; flat bar iron gnomon with ’S’ support. At the top in an arc ’OUR DAYS ON EARTH ARE AS A SHADOW’. Upright numerals VII - XII - IIII - VI. Hour lines to near semicircle around the gnomon root, with no subdivisions. Declines approx 5 deg W. Mounted on the half-timbered gable end of the S porch.
