BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s R C Church, Nottingham

Unusually, a dial on a R C Church. Possibly cast aluminium, with all the furniture in relief. Has similarities with the nearby SRN 6907, which is dated 1922. A flaming sun, with wings to each side, surrounds the root of the copper gnomon. Upright Arabic numerals 6 - 12 - 4. Hour lines, no subdivisions. Bolted to the surface of the brick wall above the south porch. [Natgrid/Lat/Long only approximate.] NOTR This is a duplicate report of SRN 7534.
