BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial has an 8-pt compass rose labelled to NE etc. At the south, in a shield is the motto: ’L’heure passe / L’amitie reste’ and the date 1805’, but the dial is probably 20th century. See also SRN 6897. It is mounted on a decorative squat shaped square pillar (height approx 1000), which once held a larger circular dial.
