BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

’Sunflower’ dial, with gnomon root at centre, and 24 gold petals around the circumference. Petals and intermediate green leaves mark half hours and hours respectively, and Arabic numerals for 4am to 7pm are carved around the vertical edge. The bronze gnomon is cut to a butterfly wing shape and has a sharpened style edge.
