BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Paul’s Church of Ireland, Articlave

Upright Roman numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, with hour lines and noon gap, and half and quarter hour divisions. Two globes are inscribed at the top of the dial with an hour glass between them. Below them is ’Tis greatly wise to talk with our past hours, And ask them what report they bore to heav’n ’. Sunburst with ’tongues of fire’ rays at the gnomon root. The gnomon is probably not original.
