BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Rectangular dial, originally with a semi-circular top. Restored c 1976 by Charles Stevens from three fragments found nearby. Ref ’Sundials in Jersey’, Charles Stevens, copy in library of Societe Jersiase. Upright Roman numerals VI - XII - IV - VI. Hour and half-hour lines. Date below iron rod gnomon. Sits on shelf in rough granite block wall and is secured by iron dog-nails. Canted out 6 degrees at the east side.
