BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Good modern ornamental dial, painted black with gold sun motifs on outside ends of hour ring and on central mounting, and gold arrow gnomon and horizon ring. Gold Roman numerals IV - XII - IV - VIII with dots for hours and half hours. Circular sectioned baluster style pedestal.
