BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

SS Peter & Paul Church, Deddington

The dial is in the graveyard extension. Arabic numerals, read from outside, 4 - 12 - 8, with split noon. Short hour lines through numerals, 15-minute divisions in irregularly curved double chapter ring. 8 cardinal compass points marked, and around the edge ’I only count you the sunny hours’. Gnomon broken. Octagonal section stone plinth, engraved on the top surface around the dial plate ’IN MEMORY OF ???’ (stone worn).
