BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cherington House, W side of S terrace, Cherington

8-point compass star labelled to NE etc. Blank shield at S edge. Aligned Roman numerals read from outside, IV - XII - IV - VIII. Octagonal panelled column merging to square base with tri-lobe decoration. Dial inset in octagonal mount stone (possibly new) which is recessed to hold dial plate. Edwardial pedestal?
