BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Patch, Cherington

In a copse in the garden at the rear is an octagonal bronze horizontal dial showing the hours IV-VIII divided into halves and quarters. There is an 8-point compass star in the centre and the motto ’Time Flies’. The dial is mounted on a fluted cylindrical column with a circular capital.
