BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cumbria Grand Hotel, Grange-over-Sands

Equatorial dial with three half-rings (meridian, polar, equatorial), with long arrow gnomon. Adjustable for latitude. Roman numerals III - IV - XII - (probably IV - IX). Dots for half hours. Screw-fixed to square section stone column 620 high. ’MIILLENNIUM’ on the SE side, ’MM’ on the NW. In a square box hedge on the lawn to the S of the hotel.
