BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Barlow Institute, Edgworth

This fairly large and characterful wooden dial is set between two first floor windows on a large red-brick village centre building overlooking its bowling green and visible from the road. The building was completed in 1910 and the dial looks to be of similar vintage. "LAT 53 38 39 N LONG 2 23 33 W" appears in small lettering above the dial face. The gnomon is of yellow metal, possibly cast aluminium.
