BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Glemham Hall (2), Little Glemham

A rather nice, early(ish) dial, possibly on its original pedestal, in the walled garden to the SE of the Hall. Aligned Roman numerals, read from inside, divided to halves and quarters, with noon gap. Pierced gnomon with top section missing, probably for a long time. The dial plate is set into the capital (corner broken and re-attached) of a very small baluster pedestal (repaired neck). The whole stands on a cube-like block, itself standing on a set of later steps. Ref BSS Bulletin 22(ii).
