BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

The dial is on the rear terrace. Roman numerals. Pedestal three Graces supporting the dial plate, similar to that in Henslow p 363, showing a horizontal dial at Wroxton Abbey. No doubt this equatorial replaces the horizontal. Photo of the original pedestal with now missing dial, Sundials & Roses of Yesterday, Earle, NY,1902, p 414.
