BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Steffan’s Church, Llanstephan

The dial is in the far SE corner of the churchyard. 4-point compass, labelled. Inscribed ’ Hart[?] fecit, Birmingham ’. Around a compass rose, read from north, ’ Llanstephan, Radnorshire / 1795 ’. Aligned Roman numerals read from inside IIII - XII - IIII - VIII with noon gap. Half hour marks with diamond tip, 15 and 5 minute divisions. The plinth is 1270 high overall, with deep irregular octagonal cross section. Dial oriented due South.
