BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Surrey

Upright disc sundial with direct East and West faces. Sunburst-shaped gold-electroplated brass gnomons with prisms creating random rainbows around a clear central spot. Arabic numerals 9, 10, 11 and 1, 2, 3. Declination curves for two family birthdays, a wedding day and the solstices. Portland stone pedestal 1350 high made by Mark Rawlins; gnomons made by J Davis.
