BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Yhe dial is in the front garden. Aligned Roman numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII. Half hourmarks with spear hed; also 15, 5 and 2 min divisions. Broad gnomon with rounded ’S’ or snake support. At the south, ’ LAT 54 22 N LONG 2 55 W / For Greenwich Mean Time Add 11 min 40 sec / CARPE DIEM / 1921 ’. 8-point compass labelled to NE etc. Anticlockwise EOT scale.Square stone pillar with substantial square capital.
