BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Merseyside

This excellent horizontal dial is marked as having been presented by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Merseyside and Isle of Man Branch, to mark the refurbishment of the church garden in 1984. It stands on an old sandstone pedestal, which probably supported a previous dial. The fluted column, 1400mm high, stands on a large circular plinth.
