BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist’s Church, Cherington

This dial is mounted high on the South wall of tower, below a small window. It is canted so as to face true South. All traces of hour lines and numerals have gone but the dial would probably have shown the hours VI - VI. The gnomon is missing though we can see the slit where it once was. The dial dates from 1770 and measures about 750mm square. Inside the porch and on the sides of its entrance are three mass dials.
