BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas’ Church, Eydon

Polished bronze or coated stainless steel? Upright Roman numerals VII - XII - IV - VI. Hour lines to absent semicircle below gnomon root, but circle completed above. Across the top ’LUX DEI’, and in the top semicircle ’MM’. No dial plate; all furnitire fastened directly to the wall. There is a nodus in the form of a hole in the centre of a flaming star, at the tip of the gnomon; but at present (Oct 2008) no declination lines are evident.
