BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Priory Church of St Mary, Bridlington

Dial on S face of tower, E buttress. Material uncertain, but appears to have a wood frame giving a raised border. Frame and details painted blue on a white ground. Across the top ’TEMPUS FUGIT’ Hour lines to semi-ellipse around the gnomon root, joined by ’spider-web’ inverted curves. Upright Roman numerals \VI - XII - IV - VI, with 30 and 15 minute divisions. Flat bar iron gnomon with integral ’face’ bar and ’S’ support.
