BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Glass ’n Art, Mistley Quay Workshops, Mistley

Stained glass sundial delineated by J Davis and made by Grace Wallis. It is a fairly accurate replica of the 17th century dial in Elmdon Church, Essex (SRN 4028). Half sun motif around gnomon. Fly motif. Motto ’SIC VITA’ at top, ’NVLLA DIES SINE LINEA’ on a ribbon below. Hourglass with wings along top.
