BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Stow Hall Gardens, Stow Bardolph

Part of dialplate missing and gnomon bent. But remaining engraving very clear. Gnomon toe at centre of dial. Aligned Roman numerals IV - (XII) - VIII, read from outside (noon missing but proper noon gap just visible). Divided to quarter hours. Good limestone(?) inverted baluster of octagonal cross section, probably older than the dial.
