BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Benthall Hall (2), Benthall nr Broseley

A small and very simple horizontal dial which could be very early and associated with the Hall. Possibly 15xx or early 16xx. Aligned Roman numerals IIII - XII - VII read from inside, divided to quarter hours. Simple 2-circle geometric design with hour lines to the inner circle. Set on modern stone pedestal.
