BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Benthall Hall (1), Benthall nr Broseley

A horizontal dial set into gravel of an alpine bed. The dial plate is probably resin with metal gnomon. Aligned Roman numerals VI - XII - VI read from inside, with noon gap. It is divided into half and quarter hours. To the S of gnomon, read from the S: ’BENTHALL HALL’.
