BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hampton Court, Richmond

On terrace overlooking Privy Gdn Replica of SRN 3129, Tompion dial of 1690 currently (May 2005) on display in the Gift Shop. This rather poor replica - missing mins etc - was engraved by Charles Scarr, and was made in 1959. It is located on the Privy Garden Terrace, on the left going down the steps. Pedestal stone vase decorated with acanthus leaves. .
