BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Moors Centre, Danby

Chamfered stone dial plate, painted grey with all detail surface painted dark grey/black. Upright Roman numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI. Small semicircle around the gnomon root, filled with thin petals; full length hour lines to the semicircle, and half hour marks. Dial plate set into stonework above ground floor level. Heavily shaded by nearby tree.
