BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Scaling Dam Farm, Scaling

A vertical stone dial with aligned sans-serif Roman numerals VI - XII - IIII, lhs (VI, VII, VIII) read from inside, base (IX, X, XI, XII, I, II) upright. Dial plate is plain white-painted stone with bevelled edges. Numerals inscribed and painted black. Flat blade gnomon with single straight support, also painted black. Mounted on stone wall between upper floor windows.
