BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Fenny Lane, Meldreth

This dial is on the north side of Fenny Lane to the east of the cross roads with Whaddon Road and Whitecroft Road and just before the first turning to the north which leads to a farm. It is a combined horizontal and vertical dial marking the meridian at Meldreth. Both dials show 6am to 6pm in Arabic numerals with a gap for the substantial gnomon slab. There are full-length hour lines with half hour marks. Above the vertical dial ’MELDRETH / MERIDIAN’; at the foot of the horizontal dial ’WEST EAST / I. R. M. ’. On the front face of the base is a plaque recording the unveiling by Sir Martin Rees on 4th Dec 1999.
