BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Buckinghamshire

Arabic numerals 4 - 12 - 8, read from north, flat-topped 8s, with (superfluous?) noon gap. Hour lines, halves and quarters. Inscribed from south ’AD / 1912 / Sic transit Gloria / MUNDI / Capio Lumen’. Monogram ’WS’? In middle of edges N, S, E, W. Lines and letters probably chiselled.
