BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

8-point compass rose labelled to NE etc inside arms. Azimuth ring, (0) - 90 x 4, zeroes N & S. IV - XII - VIII (inwards) with noon gap, divided to quarters. To S ’Constd July 8th / 1811 / for Mr J Butler of .T.’ . Possibly an Irish dial. Restored 2006 by J Davis.
