BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Jersey Museum, St Helier

The dial was originally at Inverness Lodge, Le Mont au Meunier. It was blown down from the chimney on the night of 15/16 Oct 1987 (the ’Great Storm’), and the fragments are now held at the Jersey Museum. They are in store and available by special request. It is not on display in the museum. It was probably originally painted, and fragments of white paint still adhere to the wrought iron gnomon. Just below the origin a shield with the initials ’GDP’ (George du Pre), and below that ’1744’. Above the shield and continuing into a semicircular top are floral patterns. Upright Roman numerals scratched rather than carved, using IIII.
