BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Green’s Windmill and Museum, Sneinton, Nottingham

Portland limestone sphere, stainless steel movable semicircular gnomon. Hour lines in red. Carved and gilded Arabic numerals for BST 3am to 10pm and half-hour dots, on blue equatorial band. Substantial tapering cylindrical pedestal approx 1000 high. ’MARY CANNELL 1913 - 2000’ in gold around the top. Wall plaque with EOT and other details.
