BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

On private property, but can be seen from outside from the road. Leaded stained glass dial made by Peter Klontz (deceased) a former member of the BSS. Hours 6am to 5pm marked around the lower perimeter of the central circular section. Arabic numerals, with only 7, 9, 12, 3 and 5 being used. Whole hours marked, no subdivisions. The gnomon is a simple hooked needle with a tapered end.
