BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Aligned Roman numerals rerad from outside IIII - VIII. 16-point comapss rose labelled to NNE etc. Eot. Motto ’SIC TRANSIT GLORIA MUNDI’. Maker ’Wm JOHNSON, HERCULES PASSAGE, ROYAL EXCHANGE, LONDON E3 [or EC3?]’. Date ’MDCCCLX’. Circular section limestone plinth with a twin-bulbous base set in a circular surround that is three cobbles wide.
