BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Inside a low hedge in the West Country garden there is what appears to be a fixed-gnomon analemmatic dial, but there are no hour lines or numerals. It is made of granite, slate and pebbles, and though it is well made and in excellent condition, it is clearly decorative only, and not intended to tell the time.
