BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin Church, Twyford

A modern armillary sphere in a prominent position in the Millennium Garden behind the church. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the gnomon is missing (replaced by a stick!). The dial band has Roman numerals from 5am to 7pm. There is a meridian band and a horizon band. Neither appear to have any inscriptions. The dial stands on a modern ornamental round section plinth with fluting and a Corinthian capital.
