BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Aligned Roman numerals read from inside, IIII - XII - IIII - VIII; decorative markers for half hours, outer ring divided into half- and quarter-hours; minutes marked. 8-point compass rose, only N, S, E, W marked. 3 chapter rings with Roman numerals in italics, read from inside, for ’OTAHEITE’ (Tahiti), ’JERUSALEM’, and ’P. Jackson’ (Port Jackson near Sydney, Australia). EoT ring read from outside with months (eg DECEMBER) anticlockwise, number of days inscribed in Arabic numerals.
