BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dover Castle, Dover

This is a Roman dial in the Museum Collection at Dover Castle. It has ten hour lines to a central gnomon hole. Picture from ’3rd Report of the Excavations of the Roman Fort at Richborough, Kent’, J P Bushe-Fox [?], 1932.
