BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Consall Hall Landscape Gardens, Consall

The dial is on the Sundial Terrace, set on a square-section pedestal with curved profile, height 660, on wide stepped stone base. Aligned Arabic numerals read from outside, 4 - 12 - 8, with noon gap. Sun face in 8-point compass rose, labelled only N, S, E, W. Short hour lines through numerals, half, quarter and eighth hour division.. In the border ’Let others tell of storms and showers, I only count your sunny hours. Knuckle-duster gnomon.
