BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Derbyshire

A memorial dial in the churchyard to the south of the nave, with an unusual and unnecessarily long gnomon. Arabic numerals in two chapter rings, GMT 4am - 8pm, BST 5am - 9pm. Inscribed ’REMEMBER ERIC RODBER / BORN OCT 14 ****/ DIED JUNE 25 **** ’ (years not decipherable). Old cross shaft 1350 high.
