BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Leics & Rutland

Year c 1800. Roman numerals 4am to 8pm, with intervals 30, 15, 10 and 5 minutes. EOT ring. Engraved at S: ’ W+Cary / Strand / LONDON ’. Very large dial on very large short octagonal plinth and pedestal. Dial difficult to read without clambering on to narrow ledge of plinth.
