BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Broughton Castle, Banbury

A rectangular bronze vertical dial on the south wall declining west and showing the hours VIII - VII divided into halves. Across the top are the dates MCCCVI and MMVI. All furniture is gilded. There is a rod gnomon. It was made by N Hanbury-Tenison of Pontypool.
