BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

At S, read from the N, ’P C SCULP’ / Beaminster / Lat 50 47’ (’P C SCULP’ might be ’J C SCULP’.) Note Beaminster Manor had a dial by Cox (correspondence still in progress as at Aug 2007). Other furniture not identified. Cylindrical pedestal with fluted leaf lower decoration, on square two-step plinth.
