BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St George’s Church, Ticknall

A millenium dial, one of the many erected in the year 2000, on the second buttress to the east of the south porch. Made by Silas Higgon, a maker of many fine dials. The latitude of Ticknall is included as this is neccessary for the delineation of the hour lines, and the dial declines slightly.
