BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

World Museum, Liverpool

A handsome piece designed, delineated and made by Alan Smith, this vertical declining dial is a memorial to a curator of the World Museum, Martin Suggett. It declines 3.5 degrees west. The dial plate is of grey Welsh slate and the gnomon is stainless steel.
