BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
A circular bronze horizontal dial shows the usual hours IIII-VIII with dots marking the half hours. There are no hour lines. On the south side of the dial plate is the motto ’Sunny Hours’ (with a final long S which is incorrect usage). Apart from this it makes no pretence of being older than the 20th century. It stands on a square section column.
