BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Evangelist, Kingston

Very thin plate (metal?) dial, held off rough stone wall by four pegs. Upright Roman numerals V - XII - IV, with full length hour lines, long half hour lines and quarter hour marks in border. Along the top ’ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST’. Across the bottom ’LUX IN TENEBRIS LUCET’. Bottom lh corner ’D HARBER’, and at the bottom rh corner the date ’MCMXCVII’. All furniture appears to be gold on blue.
