BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial is cast in the top surface of the mount stone of the pedestal, which is a square with the corners removed. ’Celtic’ pattern in circle at the gnomon root. Upright (from the S) Roman numerals V - XII - IV - VI. Hour lines between the central design and the chapter ring. At the S of the chapter ring ’EHEU FUGACES - LABUNTURANNI’ (sic, there is no gap before ANNI). A design of sun flames outside the chapter ring. Dial currently (June 2005) under the front porch - to be re-sited ’one day’.
